Description: The Larry A. Rice Community Service Award recognizes one exceptional individual who has demonstrated a commitment and dedication to servicing the community.
Nominees are recommended by friends, family, or colleagues, or may self-nominate. Applications are evaluated by a committee composed of board members, program staff, volunteers, and community partners. Each application is reviewed using a standardized scoring rubric.
Following independent review, the evaluation team meets to reach consensus on awardees.
Awards: Commemorative Plaque & Certificate honoring service and up to (2) tickets to attend the 2025 Building Bridges Annual Fundraising Gala to be held on October 11, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
Nominees must be 18 years of age or older

Description: The David A. Campbell Scholarship Award recognizes one exceptional high school senior and one college student who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, perseverance in overcoming challenges, and a commitment to leadership and service.
Applications are now being accepted. Applications are evaluated by a scholarship committee composed of board members, program staff, volunteers, and community partners. Each application is reviewed using a standardized scoring rubric that considers academic excellence, resilience, leadership, and alignment with our program’s values, and personal story.
Following independent review, the evaluation team meets to reach consensus on awardees.
Awards: One student from each category (high school and college) will be selected to receive a $500 scholarship, with winners formally recognized at our Annual Fundraising Gala to be held on October 11, 2025. (two complimentary tickets provided)
Eligibility Requirements:
Nominees must be 2025-2026 school year graduating high-school seniors or actively enrolled college students.
